When you call Decor for water damage restoration, our priority is to always take care of you and your property. Assess the Source & Extent of Damage
The source of the water is an important element when it comes to water damage restoration, and contaminated sources of water such as floodwaters or sewage backups will require additional steps during the restoration process to address the contamination. We will identify the source and category of the water and determine the extent of the damage to develop a comprehensive plan for cleanup and restoration.
Mitigate the Damage
Mitigation is a critical step in the water damage restoration process. We will take actions to immediate stop the spread of the damage including boardup or tarping, water extraction, and dehumidification. This may also include packing and moving contents that have been damaged or that may become damaged so they can be cleaned and securely stored.
Advanced Drying Solutions
We utilize the latest technology and equipment to quickly remove water from your property and to dry affected materials. We know that permanent water damage can occur within a short period of time, and proper drying is one of the most critical steps in the water damage restoration process and is the best deterrent against mold growth.
Clean & Restore
Depending on the source of the water, additional steps may be necessary to clean and disinfect surfaces and materials that have been in contact with the water. If materials had to be removed for drying or extraction, such as flooring, carpeting, drywall, and insulation, we will replace those items and make any repairs necessary to restore your property to its pre-loss condition.
